Home Remedies To Treat Athlete’s Foot

An athlete’s foot, also known as tinea pedis, is a fungal infection that starts occurring between the toes. This infection usually occurs in people whose feet remain moist, as fungi require a moist environment to grow. People can observe itching, scaly rash, or blisters.

  • Talcum powder:

Talcum powder works to treat an athlete’s foot by keeping the affected site dry and clean. This powder prevents fungus from growing by keeping the moisture and sweat under control.

To apply this treatment, the athletes need to apply the powder directly to the affected skin before putting on socks. 

  • Garlic:

Garlic can be beneficial in the treatment of athletes’ foot disease. A paste made up of garlic should be applied on foot 2 times a day.
