Dr. Mullins attained his medical degree at the University School of Medicine in Emory. He completed an internship at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio, TX, which was followed by three years of active duty service. Dr. Mullins has continuously served during his time in private practice, where he retired in 2014 as the Georgia National Guard Chief Medical Office.
Dr. Mullins has more than 4-decades of experience in service. Once he returned to Atlanta, he completed residencies at the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital and Emory University Hospital. After his residency training, Dr. Mullins did his fellowship training in Plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
